The 2024 TCS NYC Marathon took me on a different route. Rather than seeking out cancer and other health-focused charities, also doing amazing work,  I wanted to champion and draw attention to a cause rooted in social justice. My wife and I immigrated to the US from Cork, Ireland in 2001, and have made a wonderful life for our three children here. I have seen the rapid progress that Ireland has made in LGBTQ+ rights and I contrast it with the increasing polarization in this country. I believe that if two people love each other and commit to embarking on the endlessly rewarding journey of parenthood together, there is nothing that should stop them. My wife and I have been privileged to build our family. Rainbow parents have every right to experience this happiness. I am proud to be part of this year’s Men Having Babies NYC Marathon team, promoting the honorable mission of supporting men to achieve parenthood through surrogacy by providing financial, educational, and many other resources.

Men Having Babies has been selected as an Official Charity Partner of the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon! We have five amazing runners / fundraisers on our team, and we'd love for you to support them both with financial donations and uplifting energy and support as they train and run this marathon in support of our work and mission!

The 2024 TCS NYC Race

The TCS New York City Marathon course runs through all five of New York City’s boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan’s iconic Central Park. It is a 26.2-mile block party through the world’s most diverse city, and a model for big-city marathons around the world.
